EU Students
- Admission procedure – is performed according to the UPB Methodology
- Candidates from European countries, other than Romania, must have their study documents recognized and validated by the Romanian National Centre for the Recognition and Validation of Diplomas (CNRED, https://www.cnred.edu.ro/en/higher-education), part of the Romanian Ministry of Education and Research. This procedure is done by each candidate, by submitting the necessary files directly to the Ministry of Education and Research, and only after receiving the Certificate for the Recognition of studies, the candidate is able to register at the faculty.

Non-EU Students
- Admission procedure – is performed according to the UPB Methodology
- Enrollment period: March 1st, 2021 – August 31st, 2021

- Non-EU students interested in studying at UPB need the following documents and forms:
- Birth certificate – certified and translated copy;
- Copy of the document which attests current residence;
- Copy of the passport;
- Application form for the release of the letter of acceptance to the study programme (Annex 2);
- A certified and translated copy of the Baccalaureate diploma or its equivalent, authenticated by the proper authorities of the country of issue. For UPB study programmes, it is mandatory to study a minimum of 2 specialized subjects (mathematics, computer science, statistics, physics, chemistry, economics or technology);
- Certified and translated copy of the certificate attesting to the promotion of the baccalaureate exam for the graduates of the current year;
- Transcript of records – certified and translated copy of the document, related to the completed studies;
- Certificate of competency in foreign languages, for the students who want to follow the programmes taught in a foreign language (English, French, German);
- Medical certificate (in a foreign language) certifying that the person in case does not suffer from any contagious diseases or other afflictions incompatible with their future profession. The health certificate must comprise information that show the current health condition of the owner and, possibly, personal antecedents as to chronical diseases and SARS-COV2;
- Declaration regarding processing of personal data for the enrolment process (Annex V);
- Declaration engagement for payment of study tax (Annex VI).
- Aplication for the Issuance of Letter of Acceptance to Studies;
- Application for recognition of studies for enrollment to undergraduate studies;
- Application for recognition of studies for enrollment to Master and PhD studies;
- Declaration regarding personal data processing upon matriculation;
- Declaration regarding payment of tuition fee;
- Room reservation form.
- You will need to obtain a study VISA
- Tuition fee: 2430 Euro/academic year (9 months)

- When coming for enrollment, the candidates will present their study documents at the Foreign Students Service (Rectorate Building, AN029), in original, along with the necessary translations.

semester 1: start – October 1st, 14 weeks of school, 3 weeks of exam session, 1 week of holiday
semester 2: start – end of February, 14 weeks of school, 3 weeks of exam session, summer holiday
autumn: failed exam session (2 weeks, in early September)
