BAYHOST Scholarship Program

The Free State of Bavaria offers, through the BAYHOST program, scholarships for students and graduates from Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe for the 2026–2027 academic year.

One-year scholarships are awarded for postgraduate studies (Master’s or PhD) or for research stays at higher education institutions. The program is open to candidates from the following countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine.
