The 4th edition of our contest, now a tradition, has chosen its winners!

Junior high school section – First Prize: IT-Whiz team (+Alexandru Marghiloman Cultural and Educational Center prize)

High school section – First Prize: ID-CREW team (+Best Pitch prize) and POE team (+Best Idea prize); Second Prize: Blitz team (+Best Code prize) and CyberLoom team; Third Prize: Mardale team and MoonWalker team

Organized by our faculty in collaboration with Punctul IT and industry partners – the “Alexandru Marghiloman” Cultural and Educational Center, Center for Surface Science and Nanotechnology (CSSNT-UPB), BRD Groupe Societe Generale, BASF, Cegedim Service Center – Romania, IBM and MassMutual Romania – this year’s final was four times more creative and innovative, with participants four times more talented.

🚀 Out of over 100 registered teams, 14 finalist teams competed for prizes worth over 7000 euros. The finalist teams came from all over the country (Tulcea, Galați, Ploiești, București, Constanța, Râmnicu Vâlcea, Craiova, Sinaia, Gorj), and the joy of reuniting them for a day on the POLITEHNICA Bucharest campus was immense, allowing us to get to know them and see their innovative projects.

💰 Besides the valuable prizes, a significant advantage offered according to the regulations is that high school students who have obtained a diploma and participated individually in a team can enter the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages without an entrance exam.
