Regional Scientific Poster Competition for Students
For the second time, we are launching, in collaboration with the International Relations Office (DRI) of the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest and with the support of the Francophone University Agency – Central and Eastern Europe (AUF-ECO), the Regional Scientific Poster Competition for Students!
🎯 Theme of this edition: “Solutions Based on Emerging Technologies for Sustainable Development”
Students are invited to create posters proposing innovative technological solutions aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): https://sdgs.un.org/goals.

Previous editions
Empatehnico – technical and empathic design workshop
A project for FILS students, organized by the Open Minds Association in collaboration with Raiffeisen Bank Romania and IBM Romania. 🎓💡 The workshop helped students learn, step by step, how to use design thinking to create an app that makes life easier for people with Down Syndrome.
Through practical and theoretical exercises, they discovered how to better understand the needs of those they are designing for, working alongside the Down Plus Association and receiving guidance from experts. 🔍
“Social Innovation” Summer School
The “Social Innovation” Summer School was organized in partnership with UAS Technikum Wien (Austria) 🇦🇹, Riga Technical University (Latvia) 🇱🇻, BASF Romania, and AHK Romania.
📅 Over 5 days, students participated in free lectures and practical sessions on topics like cultural changes, urban social ecosystems, sustainable entrepreneurship, and social business, contributing to innovative solutions for today’s societal challenges.
