Accommodation

FILS students are accommodated in the following dormitories: P1, P10, P20, and P23.

*For first-year students, the room is allocated randomly

Accommodation contracts are signed in September according to the displayed schedule. On the assigned day for each study year, students must present themselves at the FILS media library (room JA101) with the necessary documents.

Collection of assignments and signing of accommodation contracts will take place according to the following schedule, in the FILS media library (room JA101):

• Saturday, September 23, 2023: Students accommodated during the summer in the UNST POLITEHNICA Bucharest dormitories, from 10:00 to 12:30.
• Wednesday, September 27, 2023:
  First-year students (Bachelor) + social cases from 9:00 to 14:00
  Second-year students (Bachelor) from 14:00 to 15:30
• Thursday, September 28, 2023:
  Third-year students from 9:00 to 11:30
  Fourth-year students from 12:00 to 14:00
  Master’s students (years I + II) from 14:00 to 15:30
• Friday, September 29, 2023: Foreign students (Bachelor + Master, all years) from 9:00 to 13:00.

To obtain the assignment and the accommodation contract, students must present the following documents to the Accommodation Commission:

1. Identity card (original + copy; the copy must clearly state the student’s mobile phone number)
2. Proof of online payment of the accommodation fee
3. Supporting documents for free/reduced fee (these must be brought on the allocated accommodation day), for the categories of students mentioned below

• For budgeted students
  – P1: 600 lei/month
  – P10 and P23: 290 lei/month or 825 lei/3 month
  – P20: 450 lei/month or 1275 lei/3 month

• For fee-paying students
  – P1: 660 lei/month
  – P10 and P23: 440 lei/month
  – P20: 550 lei/month

• Foreign CPV students
  – Tarif: 440 lei/month

• ERASMUS+ students and similar programs
  – P12: 120 euro /month

The accommodation fee will be paid:

1. From each student’s account opened on the studenți.pub.ro platform in the payments section
2. By bank transfer with the following payment details: name and surname, dormitory, room, and the month for which payment is made, to the following accounts:

Categories of accommodated students who fall under the categories provided by legislation are exempt from paying the accommodation fee. These categories include: children of teaching and auxiliary staff, Romanian state scholarship holders, foreign students exempt from paying tuition fees, orphans of one or both parents, children from single-parent families.

Students with disabilities (severe or profound) benefit from a 50% reduction in accommodation fees.

Required documents for free/reduced accommodation:

1. Certificate of being the child of teaching/auxiliary staff/retired teaching staff, endorsed by the County School Inspectorate or university
2. Parent(s) death certificate
3. Disability certificate
4. Certificate from the placement center/death certificate
5. Proof of single-parent family

Free accommodation is granted in dormitories P2-P11, P16, P17, P18, P21-P27, Leu A. For dormitories P1, P12, P20, and Leu D, a reduction equivalent to the accommodation subsidy is granted.
