FILS students are accommodated in the following dormitories: P1, P10, P20, and P23.

Foreign students who are arriving for the first time at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest and the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages are kindly requested to ensure that, before going to the Dean’s Office (room JE106) to request accommodation in dormitory P23, they have completed all necessary formalities at the Foreign Students Office (room AN029) and have been registered in the FILS Secretariat’s (room JE105) database. Completing these steps is essential!

First-year students, Bachelor’s and Master’s, the 2nd and 3rd year of Bachelor’s programs

Students are requested to attend to receive their accommodation allocation according to the schedule below.

Please come to room JA102a only around the scheduled time

Students who wish to share the same room are requested to come together, even if they are scheduled at different times.

Friday, 26 September 2025, FILS media library (room JA102a) from 9:00 – 16:00

FILS students from 4th years of Bachelor’s and 2nd year of Master’s programs, with less than 8 failed exams

Students are requested to attend to receive their accommodation allocation according to the schedule below.

Please come to room JA102a only around the scheduled time

Students who wish to share the same room are requested to come together, even if they are scheduled at different times.

Additional information

Note1 All students who applied for accommodation in the FILS dormitories were required to complete the accommodation request form on the studenti.pub.ro portal. Only the requests submitted on studenti.pub.ro by 10.09.2025 will be considered

Note2The accommodation allocation will be collected personally or based on a notarized authorization, only during the allocated time slot

Note3 In dormitories P1 and P20, no students admitted in 2025 to Bachelor’s or Master’s programs will be accommodated

Note4 To occupy the assigned accommodation place, first-year students (Bachelor’s and Master’s), who received their allocation in July 2025, must report directly to the dormitory administration between September 25–26 (08:00–16:00), bringing their accommodation contract with the attached documents and their identity card

Required documents

To obtain the assignment and the accommodation contract, students must present the following documents to the Accommodation Commission:

  1. Passport
  2. Acceptance letter
  3. Proof of accommodation fee payment

Accommodation fees

  • Foreign students CPV: fee of 560 lei per place/month or 1100 lei/month if they live alone in the room, or the equivalent in euros at the BNR exchange rate on the day of payment
  • Romanian state scholarship students, 1.5 subsidy units: fee of 100 lei/place/month for dormitories P4, P5, P6, P7, P8, P9, P10, P11, P17, P18, P16, P21, P22, P23, P24, P25, P26, P27, Leu A

Payment methods

The accommodation fee will be paid using the payment module on the platform http://studenți.pub.ro , by logging in each student to their personal account.

Foreign students will pay the dormitory fee into the university account opened in EURO with the following details:

! Students are advised to wait until the day of accommodation (according to the calendar) to make the payment.

Students enrolled in year 1, who paid the accommodation fee upon enrollment in July, will pay the present tariffs starting in November, according to the table above.
