Specializations

For the distribution into study programs (specializations), first-year students enrolled in the 2024–2025 academic year in the domain of Computers and Information Technology (CTI) can express their options until September 1st, 2025 through the online form available at: https://fils.upb.ro/en/cti-specializations-for-first-year-students/

Within the CTI domain (French and English sections), the following study programs are available:
– IIDI (Internet of Things Engineering)
– II (Information Engineering)

The assignment to programs will be decided by the Executive Board of the Faculty, with the approval of the Faculty Council, based on the criteria below and the option expressed in the online form:

  • Criterion I: the average grade used for the scholarship in the first year of university (based on the studenti.pub.ro platform)
  • Criterion II: the average grade from the second semester (used to decide between students with the same average in Criterion I)
  • Criterion III:
    • the study program selected on apply.upb.ro (for non-EU students)
    • the admission average listed on admitere.upb.ro (for EU and EEA students)

Students who do not express their options will be assigned to the remaining available places in the study programs.
