1. Accommodation calendar:
The distribution of the assignments and the signing of the accommodation contracts will be done according to the following schedule, in room JA102 (Mediateca FILS):
- Saturday, September 23, 2023, students accommodated during the summer in the dormitories of UNST POLITEHNICA Bucharest, between 10 and 12.30;
- Wednesday, September 27, 2023, first year students (bachelor) + social cases between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and second-year students (bachelor’s degree) between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.;
- Thursday, September 28, 2023, third-year students between 9 a.m. and 11.30 a.m ., fourth-year students between 12 a.m. and 2 p.m. and master’s students (years I+II) between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.;
- Friday, September 29, 2022, foreign students (bachelor + master, all years) between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The documents necessary for accommodation, to be submitted to the Accommodation Commission in order to obtain the assignment (application approved by the Accommodation Commission) and the accommodation contract (rental), are:
– identity card (original + copy; on the copy will be written legibly the student’s mobile phone number);
– proof of online payment of the accommodation fee according to point 2. below;
– benefit from free / tariff reduction (ONLY IF ALL THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS are brought on the day allocated to accommodation), the categories of students mentioned in point 2 below.
2. Accommodation rates starting October 2023:
A) Budget students will pay:
– for dormitories P2-P11, P16, P17, P18, P21-P27, Leu A the amount of 290 lei / month or 825 lei / 3 months if they want to pay in advance for October, November and December;
– for dormitories P1, P12 and D Leu 600 lei. If the normed consumption per room is exceeded, the cost of utilities is supplementarily added;
– for dormitory P20 450 lei/month or 1275 lei/3 months;
– for Leu C 350 lei or 990 lei / 3 months.
The categories of students accommodated and falling into the categories provided by Law no. 199/2023, Collective labor agreement in education, Law no. 272/2004, GD no. 844/2008 and OMEN no. 3130/2019 are exempt from paying the accommodation fee. These categories include: children of teachers and auxiliary teachers in activity or retired, scholarship holders of the Romanian state, foreign students exempt from paying tuition fees, orphans of one or both parents, children from single-parent families*.
Students with disabilities (severe or severe disability) will benefit from a 50% discount on the hostel overhead payment, according to art. 16 para. (8) of Law 448/2006, as subsequently amended and supplemented.
Accommodated students included in a category that benefits from gratuity / discount for the payment of the accommodation fee, according to the legal provisions, will also present the following documents in original to the Accommodation Commission of the faculty, which will be kept by the commission:
– certificate of son of teacher / auxiliary teacher / retired teacher, endorsed by the County School Inspectorate or university;
– death certificate of parent(s);
– certificate of disability for the persons concerned (according to Law 448/2006, art.16 paragraph (8));
– certificate from the placement center / death certificates;
– evidence of single-parent family*.
*Note: Single parent family: is the type of family in which children live with only one of the parents. This can happen as a result of divorce, separation of parents, death of one of the parents, adoption of a minor by an adult or as a result of a woman’s decision to give birth to a child without being married or living with a man.
Free accommodation for the above cases is granted to accommodation in dormitories P2-P11, P16, P17, P18, P21-P27, Leu A.
For dormitories P1, P12, P20 and Leu D, for the cases listed above, a discount equivalent to the accommodation subsidy of 180 lei / 360 lei is granted, as the case may be.
B) Tuition students and students of other universities shall pay:
– for dormitories from P2 to P11, P16, P17, P18, from P21 to P27, Leu A the amount of 440 lei per student / month;
– for dormitory P20 550 lei/month;
– for dormitory C Leu 495 lei/month;
– for dormitories P1, P12 and D Leu 660 lei. If the normed consumption per room is exceeded, the cost of utilities is additionally added.
For UNSTPB students, CD children and auxiliary staff, orphans of 1 or both parents, children from single-parent families, who are enrolled in fee-paying education, benefit from a discount of 180 lei from the accommodation fee in dormitories P2-P11, P16, P17, P18, P21-P27, Leu A.
C) CPV foreign students
– price 440 lei place / month.
D) ERASMUS+, ERASMUS MUNDUS, EPICO, etc. students:
– for dormitory P12 – 120 euro place / month.
Accommodation rates are valid until the end of 2023 and will be updated according to price change notifications received from utility providers starting January 2024.
Payment methods:
The hostel overhead will be paid:
1) from each student’s account opened in the platform http://studenți.pub.ro the payments section;
2) by payment order mentioning the following details for payment:
