Internships abroad

The faculty is recognized by the UPB through the largest number of mobilities granted to its students during their studies. In the 19 years of its existence, over 1700 students have been beneficiaries of a mobility of at least 1 month. The cumulative duration of the students’ internships exceeds 280 years.

Internships of 1 month, at the end of the first year for the French sector.

AUF scholarships

Mobility subsidized by the Francophone University Agency (AUF). These scholarships are intended for study internships or practical internships in member universities of the agency.

Mobility for initial preparation

Mobility is done within the network of Universities of AUF. This network takes francophone students outside their country of origin and allows them to carry out part of their university training.

Scholarships are awarded for a duration of 1 to 2 academic semesters or for a maximum duration of 10 months.

Target audience:

  • Students enrolled in AUF member universities from Central and Eastern Europe
  • Students enrolled in one of the 16 Francophone courses supported by AUF in Central and Eastern Europe
  • Students enrolled in the French university departments of AUF member universities in Central and Eastern Europe

French government scholarships

The French government annually awards more than 100 scholarships for specialization in France to Romanian students. Some of these are administered by the Service for Cooperation and Cultural Action (SCAC) of the French Embassy in Romania, and others are administered directly by the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs in Paris.

For these, with the exception of the Copernicus program, the student must enroll at the desired university and apply for the scholarship in parallel to the above-mentioned bodies through the French Embassy or through the host university in France, depending on the type of scholarship requested.

EIFFEL Excellence Scholarships

The “Eiffel Excellence Scholarships” program created in 1999 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is aimed at foreign students who wish to pursue Master’s or Doctorate studies in France. These scholarships are intended for foreign students whose qualities are recognized by the host French universities.

10-month study grants in France for a Master 2 level training (professional, research, specialization or equivalent).

The Copernicus program

This management training program prepares up to 45 young economists and engineers from Central and Eastern European countries.

DAAD scholarship programs

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) annually offers study and research internships in Germany. Application documents are submitted in November of the following academic year.

The detailed description of the programs can be found on the page www.daad.ro. All scholarships assume good results in studies and, as a rule, knowledge of German and/or English.

Private scholarships

Each academic year, between 10 and 20 students are beneficiaries of private scholarships intended especially for practical internships.

These scholarships are awarded by the traditional partners of the faculty, university or economic units. After the pre-selection within the faculty, the selection is made by the financier.
