General methodology

The admission competition is conducted in accordance with the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest methodology.

Current Admission Session: Early admission 2025

Registration

Period: 15.12.2024-09.05.2025

Registration fee: 50 RON

To register for the admission competition for master’s degree in the early admission session, candidates submit the application file online on the university’s admission website, which must contain the following documents:

  • (a) the standard registration form (automatically generated by the admission platform) , according to Annex 2, in which they will mention, under electronic or scanned signature and their own responsibility, all the data requested by the respective form;
  • (b) birth certificate;
  • (c) the marriage certificate (if applicable);
  • (d) the school situation of the bachelor’s years prior to the current year in which they are or the transcript/diploma supplement if they graduated a bachelor’s degree program in a previous year:
  • (e) identity card/passport;
  • (f) proof of payment of the early admission registration fee (the account where the payment is made will be displayed on the university’s admission website);
  • (g) declaration (included in Annex 2) by which the candidate declares that he/she has not previously benefited from a budgeted place for master’s degree studies if he/she applies for a place free of charge;

By exception, candidates who are students in a final year of undergraduate studies at POLITEHNICA București in the academic year 2024-2025 do not have to submit the documents specified in points (c) and (d).

During an admission session, a candidate can apply for places financed from the budget only at one faculty of POLITEHNICA Bucharest.

 In the case of candidates for study programs taught in languages of international circulation and who do not present study documents/documents/school situations, required for enrollment, issued by educational institutions in Romania or abroad, with teaching in that language, it is necessary to certify language skills at enrollment.

The certification of language skills is done by one of the following methods:

  • he candidate possesses a certificate of language skills for the respective language of instruction (minimum B2); the certificate is uploaded to the online registration platform;
  • The candidate is a graduate of a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in the respective language of instruction;
  • The candidate has a foreign language discipline for the respective language of instruction passed in the first year of undergraduate studies with an average of at least 8.00;
  • During the interview, the candidate takes the online test in POLITEHNICA Bucharest of language skills for the respective language of instruction (if he does not meet one of the 3 previous conditions) and obtains the PASSED qualification.
  • The candidate takes the foreign language test during the interview test with the examination board.

Details about the interviews will be announced on the Admissions page of each master’s or by contacting the secretary of each committee.

Other aspects:

  • Validation of the candidates’ identity will be done using the web camera and ID card. The online tests will be recorded, according to the regulations and the agreement expressed by the candidates in the registration form.
  • The interview will be conducted in the language of instruction.
  • The interview will be conducted using the Microsoft Teams program.
  • Candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Teams – especially the on/off webcam and screen sharing functions within a call.
  • Candidates must be available in the “team” at least 10 minutes before the time they are scheduled for the interview.
